- Cancellation Policy: Students must provide at least 48 hours’ notice for lesson cancellations. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
- Payment Terms: Payment for each lesson must be made in cash or via bank transfer before or at the start of the lesson. Failure to make payment may result in the lesson being cancelled.
- Refund Policy for Block Bookings: Refunds for block bookings will be subject to a deduction reflecting any discounts received. The refund amount will be adjusted accordingly.
- Instructor’s Right to Cancel or Postpone: The instructor reserves the right to cancel or postpone a lesson if weather conditions are deemed unsafe for driving. The safety of the student is our top priority.
- Rescheduling due to Vehicle Breakdown: In the event of a vehicle breakdown, the instructor will promptly reschedule the lesson for the next convenient time slot. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
- Late Arrival Policy: Students are expected to arrive punctually for their lessons. Late arrivals may result in a shortened lesson duration, as the instructor’s schedule may not allow for extended time. If the instructor is late then time will be added to that lesson if possible, if not it will be made up at the next possible time.
- Driving License Requirement: Students must hold a valid driving license and present it to the instructor before commencing any lessons. Failure to do so may result in the lesson being cancelled.
- Code of Conduct: Jey Driving school reserves the right to terminate a lesson in the event a learner may be unfit to drive, either through drink, abusive behaviour, drugs, or any medication they may be taking, in this instance the full lesson fee would still be payable.
- Driving Tests: Jey Driving school reserves the right to withhold use of a car for the UK Practical Driving Test, if in the opinion of the instructor, the learner is not up to the standard required to take the test.
- Safety Measures: Students must adhere to all safety instructions provided by the instructor during lessons. Failure to follow safety guidelines may result in the lesson being terminated.
- Feedback and Complaints: Students are encouraged to provide feedback on their learning experience. Any complaints or concerns should be addressed directly to the instructor or management for prompt resolution.
